About This Position:

As a Principal Product Manager for Agentic AI Platform at G-P, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Agentic AI strategy and driving the success of platform capabilities that enable AI-powered experiences across our products and operations. You will work at the intersection of AI, platform services, developer experience, security, data, and enterprise SaaS.

You will be expected to define how agents, tools, APIs, workflows, evaluation frameworks, permissions, and governance models come together to create reliable, secure, and scalable AI capabilities. This is a platform product role with a strong AI focus. The ideal candidate has deep platform product management experience, strong curiosity about AI, and the ability to translate emerging technology into practical product outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Agentic AI platform capabilities, from strategy and discovery to roadmap, execution, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Define and drive key AI platform capabilities, including agents, tools, action interfaces, API integrations, orchestration patterns, evaluation frameworks, observability, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Partner with engineering, data, security, and product teams to build scalable AI-powered capabilities using cloud-native, SaaS, microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
  • Own the product strategy for how agents answer questions, assist users, take actions, access data, use tools, and safely interact with business systems.
  • Work with business product teams to identify and prioritize high-value agentic use cases across customer experience, professional experience, reporting, onboarding, compliance, support, and internal operations.
  • Drive a platform approach for AI by creating reusable patterns, shared capabilities, clear standards, and developer-friendly interfaces that can be adopted across multiple teams and products.
  • Define AI quality and evaluation requirements, including golden datasets, test cases, pass/fail criteria, trace reviews, regression testing, and production monitoring.
  • Collaborate with identity, security, and platform teams to ensure agentic actions follow proper authentication, authorization, permissions, auditability, privacy, and compliance controls.

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: 15+ years of product management experience, including owning and driving large-scale technology platforms, AI products, developer-facing products, or enterprise SaaS capabilities across multiple lifecycle stages.
  • Agentic AI Product Thinking: Strong understanding of how AI, LLMs, agents, tools, workflows, automation, and orchestration can be applied to enterprise SaaS products. Ability to think beyond chatbot experiences and define how AI can help users complete meaningful tasks and business outcomes.
  • AI Quality and Governance: Familiarity with AI evaluation methods such as golden datasets, test suites, trace analysis, human review, LLM-as-a-judge, regression testing, and production monitoring. About the role

We are seeking an exceptionally agile, versatile, and AI-native Sr. Product Operations Manager to be the lynchpin between our strategy, day-to-day operations, stakeholders, and internal teams. Birdy Grey is hiring a Senior Product & Design Manager on a 6-month contract to lead Site Experience across the customer journey, covering a planned leave. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role for someone who can ramp fast, pick up work already in flight, and keep the team and roadmap moving with confidence.

This person will lead product management and design across the full customer journey, including product discovery, consideration, and conversion. They’ll also advance strategic initiatives already underway, including party coordination tools, next-gen product discovery, and share of event growth. The goal isn’t just to maintain momentum. It’s to advance the work and set up a clean handoff when the role holder returns.

The ideal candidate has led site experience teams before, gets up to speed quickly with minimal hand-holding, and is comfortable owning an inherited roadmap. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, plan, and execute against an existing product vision, strategy, and roadmap in partnership with cross-functional partners and stakeholders. Champion a test-and-learn culture.
  • Manage the digital product team and product design function, including product management and design ICs.
  • Monitor and drive site experience KPIs, using data-driven insights to identify and validate opportunities to improve conversion, revenue, and marketing efficiency.

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in product management, with a demonstrated focus on ecommerce conversion, site experience, and customer journey optimization
  • 2-3 years of people leadership, including direct management of both product managers and designers. Comfortable leading a cross-functional IC team and providing substantive design feedback, not just PM direction

The Commerce Systems team is at the literal nexus of Stripe’s expansion to a full-fledged Financial Services infrastructure platform. We own the internal revenue engine that enables every product team at Stripe to monetize their offerings, manage fees, and create complex commercial constructs. You will join a high-leverage 110-person organization, partnering with 10–20 engineers to harmonize disparate systems—from billing to financial data warehouses—into a single, elegant interaction surface.


What you’ll do


As the PM for Commerce Systems, you will be the architect of the 'engine room' of Stripe’s revenue. You will be responsible for building the unified control planes that harmonize Stripe’s internal billing, seller systems, and financial data warehouses into a single, high-leverage interaction surface. In this role, your mission is to eliminate integration friction for internal product teams, allowing them to ship faster, while ensuring our merchants receive the world-class fee transparency and reconciliation tools they need to run their businesses.


Responsibilities



  • Harmonize Infrastructure: Build the "control planes" that unify seller systems, user billing, and financial data warehouses to reduce integration friction for product teams.

  • Architect for Velocity: Drastically reduce the time-to-market for new Stripe products by streamlining monetization workflows and core underlying capabilities.

  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager in technology companies.

  • Backend Foundation: Deep experience with large-scale backend systems and an API-first mindset.

  • Platform Expertise: Proven track record building platform infrastructure that serves the needs of multiple disparate stakeholders.

  • Communication: Ability to synthesize complex technical discussions and write succinctly for senior leadership. The ability to work cross functionally and speak multiple ‘languages’: you’re equally credible as a thought partner for Go-to-Market, Engineering, Finance or Legal leaders.
